Every fifteen minutes someone in the United States dies from an alcohol related traffic collision.

Phillippo Insurance is a regular supporter of the Healthy Youth Coalition‘s Every 15 Minutes program, which aims to educate high school students about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The simulated traffic accident, staged on school grounds, is a sobering reminder to students that tragic alcohol-related accidents affect an entire community, and can be prevented by making mature, responsible decisions every time you get behind the wheel.

A number of agencies are involved in the event, including local law enforcement and emergency response agencies, funeral homes, the corrections department and district attorney’s office, and numerous financial sponsors and volunteers.
